About Amy

Hi, I’m Amy Scullard.
I use a holistic approach to Physiotherapy, taking physical and non-physical needs into consideration, and goals are very much client led. My treatment approach is a combination of hands-on and independent exercise programmes. I aim to improve physical health and overall wellbeing, increasing independence and improving quality of life.
I have worked in most fields of Physiotherapy, but my specialist areas are:
- Elderly Care
- Neurology
- General medicine
- Surgical rehabilitation
- Cardiac rehabilitation
- Respiratory conditions
In addition to Physiotherapy, I am a qualified swimming instructor and can incorporate 1:1 swimming lessons in with therapy if desired.
I graduated from Keele University as a Physiotherapist in 2009. I have worked in a number of NHS Trusts including our local trusts Buckinghamshire Healthcare, Oxford University Hospital Trust and Oxford Health. I have spent the last 10 years working as a Senior Physiotherapist in two community services:
- The local domiciliary NHS Physiotherapy service visiting housebound and residents in care homes requiring almost all specialities of Physiotherapy
- Specialist Neurological Physiotherapy in both outpatient and home-based settings
